North America Nebula (NGC 7000)

Emission Nebula in the constellation of Cygnus. From most luminus objects (visual magnitude 4,00) extends 3,0x2,5 degrees in the night sky, (it covers over four times region of sky more than our moon does),near by Deneb (alpha star of Cygnus constellation). It resemples in shape to North America, so his nickname. Cygnus's Wall is a term for the "Mexico and Central America part" of the North America Nebula. The Cygnus Wall exhibits the most concentrated star formations in the nebula.

We cannot see this nebula with unaided eye. We can see it in dark skies with binoculars or large field telescopes with specialized filters (like oxygen visual filter).

If the star inducing the ionization is Deneb,  the nebula complex would be about 1800 light years distance, and its absolute size (6° apparent diameter on the sky) would be 100 light years.

During my involvement in photographing the "deep sky" I missed the accompaniment of music, as my musical experience guides me. So I decided to fill my astrophotos with my music. From September 2016 as a starting point, therefore, together with the Flaming Star Nebula,  I present to You, the ‘Floydish Pulsar I’, as my first musical composition (composition, performance and production by me), always inspired by these images.

Parallel Words ! and Dancing Stars I, complete my first trilogy.

Emjoy !
