Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8)

Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8)

I am happy when it happens to me to meet remarkabable people. For Theodore Arampatzoglou (Arasteo, http://arasteo.blogspot.gr/, Cosmic Photons Astrophotography Deep Sky and Solar System ccd photography from Athens Greece) there is no need to introductions, especially by me. For the non-astro-members, Theodore is an internationally recognized astro Imager. An opened mind person, a great teacher for me, but and a good friend too (how could not to be so!). He gave me any help, whenever I need It. And he does so again and again.

Lately, he shared with all Astrobin members, his excellent narrowband frames for the lagoon nebula.

With great pleasure, with respect and appreciation to the staff of my friend, I quote my personal approach to this beautiful theme.

Noted that these shots were delivered from Theo to us with already finalized the basic pretreatment steps (bias-deep and flat frames processing, alignment and stacking).

Hoping you enjoy the result!

During my involvement in photographing the "deep sky" I missed the accompaniment of music, as my musical experience guides me. So I decided to fill my astrophotos with my music. From September 2016 as a starting point, therefore, together with the Flaming Star Nebula,  I present to You, the ‘Floydish Pulsar I’, as my first musical composition (composition, performance and production by me), always inspired by these images.

Parallel Words ! and Dancing Stars I, complete my first trilogy.

Emjoy !
