Sh2-129

Sharpless 2 - 129.

It is an emission nebula, in constellation of Cepheus, near the Elephant trunk nebula (IC 1396), also known as the Flying Bat Nebula,  1,300 light years from us with a  diameter of 50 light years.

Recently (2011) has discovered by the French astronomer Nicolas Outters an extremely weak planetary nebula Ou4 (the Giant Squid nebula), probably somewhere 2,300 light parts away. It appears only with OIII filter, 50 light years long, and it looks like it is in the Sh2-129 (it is a simple overlap, the are not related).

During my involvement in photographing the "deep sky" I missed the accompaniment of music, as my musical experience guides me. So I decided to fill my astrophotos with my music. From September 2016 as a starting point, therefore, together with the Flaming Star Nebula,  I present to You, the ‘Floydish Pulsar I’, as my first musical composition (composition, performance and production by me), always inspired by these images.

Parallel Words ! and Dancing Stars I, complete my first trilogy.

Emjoy !
